Author Alex

Born and raised in Paris, France, I became passionate about English at the age of 10. After 8 years, I reached my goal, which was to become perfectly bilingual, and sound like a native speaker.

In 2001, I obtained a M.A degree in English with a minor in French as a Foreign Language. The following year, I taught French at UC Irvine. From 2002 to 2004, I taught French at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles. In 2004, I started teaching privately. During my first year, I was the private English tutor of President Chirac’s daughter and grandson (as well as other French celebrities). I have been tutoring French in the Los Angeles area and on Skype to teenagers and adults from all parts of the US (and abroad) since 2005. In 2006, I translated The Agassi Story, an autobiography of Andre Agassi’s father. As of 2010, I have been translating official documents to help rebuild Haiti after the earthquake while continuing to offer tutoring services.
